Whilst at Lord Howe Island Central School, Kayla’s accomplishments included year level champion for swimming, athletics and cross country. Since transferring to St Peters, she’s participated in Cross Country, Athletics, Touch Football & Tennis.
Interests:
Having grown up on Lord Howe Island, her activities have been predominantly water based. Fishing and wake boarding are her current two favourites, however kayaking and surfing are also high priority. She’s also hoping to add kitesurfing to that ever growing list some time this summer. Her love for running was promoted through school based competitions such as sport carnivals and discovery day events. Having a dad who strongly encourages physical activity/healthy living and leads by example being a mountain guide, kiteboarder and frequent kayaker, has fed her passion for fitness and competition.
